Here is your guide to local holiday craft markets for last-minute shopping.
Gifts for the person in your live who loves the North. Featured vendors will be selling outdoor clothing, homemade canoe paddles, and gear for your winter biking pal. Tattersall will be mixing up cocktails to sip on while you shop, and the Stanley’s on Wheels food truck will be there for the lunch/brunch crowd.

The place you can find the Glühwein (spiced mulled wine). This market has an emphasis on the traditional and decorative, featuring handcrafted Christmas ornaments and nutcrackers and decorative glass. Visitors can also purchase the aforementioned Glühwein along with other wintry outdoor treats like roasted nuts and sausages. Live reindeer may even put in an appearance, depending on the day and schedule.

Art, cookies, and beer—what more could you ask for? This winter market is on the smaller side, with an eclectic line-up including handcrafted wooden fishing lures, personal stationery, spinning supplies, and a wide range of custom jewelry. Also, if you bring warm-weather items for decorating the mitten tree, your first beer is free! (All donations benefit Minneapolis family homeless shelter People Serving People.)
Better bring your coat for this one. The Minneapolis Craft Market, inspired by the London street-market concept, takes place outside Sociable Cider Werks, rain or shine. Booths are staffed by local artisans, with a rotating lineup based on availability (and one presumes weather). Lots of crafty jewelry, handmade clothing, and interesting artwork on display.

The self-proclaimed spot to find “indie-gredients” and homemade gifts. With close to 60 vendors on any given Sunday, it’s hard to imagine what you couldn’t find here. Everything you need to cook a Minnesota holiday meal is available: wild rice, pickled veggies, fancy cheese, and cheddar polish sausages.
A solid selection of winter produce and canned goods. Maple syrup and local honey make great stocking stuffers for anyone you know with a sweet tooth. For those who prefer a savory snack, consider the jerky/beef stick collection.

This is mostly an outdoor carnival-style event, but there are some vendors worth checking out that are tucked in between the skating rink and outdoor carriage rides. Pick up a blanket or throw at Faribault Woolen Mill Co., grab some truly funky spice mixes (and bottles) at the Heather’s Dirty Good Seasoning booth, and don’t forget your Minnesota swag from Minnesota Awesome!
Homemade goodies, honey, fresh made treats, and children’s crafts galore, not to mention the local DJ and craft beer from Indeed! This is an excellent bet for the cook or gourmand in your life. Plenty of hot sauces and homemade salsa for gifting, and fresh-made pastries for the snacking while browsing.

Locally made art, music, and books, along with fair-trade chocolate and tea gift baskets! The Exchange next door will be hosting a cookie exchange in case you get hungry.
Take day drinking to another level by grabbing a Bloody Mary at 9:00 a.m. while you browse through the selection at this market. Typically a mix of vintage goods and handmade crafts, this year the website boasts that there will also be cacti and shark pillows on sale. Whatever your last-minute gift needs, you will be sure to find it here.
