How good is your crossword game? Test your skills in the Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library’s sixth annual Minnesota Crossword Tournament June 11 at the Landmark Center! Puzzle solvers of all levels will battle for prizes and glory based on speed and accuracy, and we’re giving you the chance to win free individual registration in the competition!

To enter, all you have to do is like the Twin Cities Geek page on Facebook and comment on the individual registration giveaway post with a synonym for WINNER between now and 7:00 p.m. Central on Sunday, June 4, 2017.

We’ll choose 1 lucky commenter who will win individual registration for either the amateur or expert level!

No purchase necessary. Total number of prizes to be given away is 1. Total retail value of this prize is $25. How to Enter: Like the Twin Cities Geek Facebook fan page (https://www.facebook.com/TwinCitiesGeek) and comment on the designated post (https://www.facebook.com/TwinCitiesGeek/photos/p.1103795369753053/1103795369753053) naming a synonym for the word “winner.” Only one comment per person and only top-level comments will be counted, not nested replies.

Selection and Notification of Winner: Each eligible comment will be assigned a number in ascending order based on the order in which it was posted. A number will be chosen by means of a random number generator, and the user who posted the comment corresponding to that number will be deemed the winner. Odds of winning are dependent on the number of entries received.

If Twin Cities Geek is unable to reach the winner within 48 hours of selection, or if the winner is ineligible or otherwise unable to accept their prize, then the above process will be repeated until the prize is successfully awarded.

Eligibility: One entry per person. Giveaway is open only to legal residents of Minnesota who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. In order for an entry to be counted, the comment or tweet must be posted by 7:00 p.m. Central time on June 4, 2017; it must follow the giveaway prompt; and the user posting a comment must “Like” the Twin Cities Geek Facebook page. Current Twin Cities Geek contributors and editors are not eligible for entry.
