Kids of all ages are invited to explore SCIENCE with fun laboratory experiments and activities!
First Saturday Science is a program designed by students at the Institute for Community Engagement and Scholarship (ICES) for community children of all ages to expand their exposure to science. Once a month, youth are guided through an exploration of a specific field of inquiry in a hands-on laboratory at Metropolitan State University's St. Paul campus.
March's science theme is Beyond the Universe!
The goal of this program is to demonstrate the accessibility of science: that it is for everyone to discover and experience and that it encompasses many diverse and realistic options for future careers.
No RSVP needed; simply show up at the venue at the right time. The event is free for kids of all ages (youth under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).
