Slap Happy Studios is holding a series of workshops to generate ideas for their future project, 'Footprints' about a hunt for Bigfoot and the effects it has on a small town as the residents try to come to terms with their beliefs being challenged. The show will rely heavily on humor and camp, playing off of b-movie tropes while simultaneously highlighting the audience’s psychological fear of the unknown and the inherent horror of calling into question everything.

We are looking for people with all kinds of theatre, cryptozoology, and creative backgrounds. Our second workshop will take place on Saturday, June 16 from 11:30am to 1:30pm in the Meeting Room (lower level) at Hosmer Library (347 E. 36th St. Minneapolis, MN 55408). We will be exploring tropes and elements from genres including horror, b-horror, and camp. Please come play with us! If you will be attending, please fill out the attached Google Form.
