Mar 20, 2018 7:00 pm - Mar 20, 2018 9:30 pm

The 50th anniversary of Mister Rogers Neighborhood has Twin Cities PBS feeling a little nostalgic, and we've decided to embrace it. After all, Mister Rogers would never frown upon grown adults feeling their feelings.
With that, Twin Cities PBS invites you and yours (21+) to our Lowertown neighborhood to celebrate the life and legacy of Fred Rogers on his birthday, March 20th. Don your favorite cardigan (preferably made by your mother, just as Mister Rogers' were), tie up your comfiest sneakers, and toast the man who promoted kindness and compassion with your neighbors.
What to expect when you're expecting to celebrate Mister Rogers' Birthday?
We'll have episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood playing on the big screen, and special Mister Rogers-themed puppet and mask theater performances by In the Heart of the Beast to transport you to the Neighborhood of Make Believe. And there will be birthday cake. And a cash bar.
