Alexandra might tell you she’s an inhabitant of Carcosa, but in reality she grew up in an enchanted forest of books right here in Minnesota. It’s no coincidence she found herself inspired to the written word as she grew. A Minneapolis native, Alexandra soon left the frozen tundra to study creative writing and theater in the South before finding work in professional theater.
After a rich career on and around the stage, Alexandra headed to Japan to teach and have adventures. After her stint teaching in Fukuoka, it wasn’t long before Alexandra returned to Minnesota to pursue an MA in education.
Alexandra currently works as a high school teacher, where she helps cultivate the minds and creativity of the next generation of geeks. When she isn’t grading papers, she can be found daydreaming about driving the back roads of America in a ’67 Chevy Impala.
