Editor
Christopher Deppa is an editor, a dramaturg, and a proud resident of Minnesota. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Theater Arts—History/Dramaturgy and an editing and publishing certificate.
As an aficionado of theater and literature, he has worked in both fields. Places he has been an editor intern at include CHOYCES and the Theatre Times. He worked as a community editor apprentice for the Saint Paul Almanac 2025 fall edition. In 2023, he served as co-dramaturg for the University of Minnesota production of Pride and Prejudice.
A Series of Unfortunate Events (his Star Wars/Harry Potter growing up) taught him moral relativism at a young age. An enjoyer of most horror subgenres, Chris is forever hunting for hardcover first editions of every book Stephen King has ever written. His favorite director is Mike Flanagan. He doesn’t watch many action movies, but he reads more superhero comics than you’d expect. The Simpsons and The Muppet Show are his two biggest comfort watches. If he’s around normal people, he’ll say his favorite show is Fargo. If he’s around fellow geeks, he’ll tell the truth and say it’s Gravity Falls. He loves going on long walks, mostly to let his hyperactive mind wander further.
