Contributor (Comics)
Marcus Price has always enjoyed the realm of visual media, from reading the FoxTrot and Garfield comic strips as a kid to cartoons on Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. As an adult, he pursued a degree in television production and film studies and continued into a career in public media. His studies cultivated a greater appreciation for film, both modern and classic, and from domestic and international filmmakers.
Postcollege, Marcus developed a love for comics, including Uncanny X-Men stories written by Chris Claremont and Wonder Woman stories written and drawn by George Pérez. He’s also seen many classic sitcoms and especially loves The Mary Tyler Moore Show, featuring beloved Minnesotan character Mary Richards.
