Max Borman has lived in Minneapolis his entire life, besides a brief stint at North Dakota State University, where he majored in journalism and English. Straight out of college, he took his passion for all things nerd culture and became a freelance features writer at Game Rant. Over the course of three years, he wrote numerous articles, conducted countless interviews, and reviewed some of the hottest games. While his time there may have ended, his love for the industry has not.
He spends his days exploring all sorts of video games, with some of his favorite being World of Warcraft, any LEGO game, and the Assassin’s Creed franchise. When he’s not doing that, he’s watching dozens of movies and TV, going to conventions, spending his money on collectibles, and even playing a match or two of Magic: The Gathering. Whatever he is doing, it usually always involves the wonderful world of nerddom.
He has even taken that passion to TikTok, where he has amassed around 30,000 followers by simply talking about movies, TV, and video games. On top of that, he has published written work in various journals, won a couple writing awards, and has been trying to create his own fantasy and sci-fi novels. But first, he needs to figure out how to actually focus on them.
