Celebrate 25 Years of “X-Men: Evolution” with the Uncanny Experience 2025
The Uncanny Experience, the immersive X-Men fan convention held in Minneapolis, has announced that this year it will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of X-Men: Evolution with the help of some of the show’s cast and crew. The special guests include Meghan Black (the voice of Rogue), Maggie Blue O’Hara (the voice of Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat), and Steven E. Gordon (the show’s director and character designer), with more to be announced.
The first two Uncanny Experience events, in 2023 and 2024, were held in the fall, but this year’s will take place on July 12 and 13, 2025. The convention is returning to the Minneapolis Club, which will once again be transformed into Xavier’s Institute for the weekend. It will include panels and immersive X-Men classes, meet-and-greets with the special guests, plenty of cosplay, a Mutant Market featuring vendors and artists, a game room, an after-party, and admission to the exclusive Hellfire Club. (For more about the experience, see resident X-Men geek Jonathan Palmer’s review of the first Uncanny Experience in 2023.) Programming submissions are not yet open at the time of writing, but if you are interested in becoming a vendor for the Mutant Market, you can apply between now and April 1, 2025.
Tickets are now on sale, with several options available. General admission is $95, or $10 for those 12 and under. There are also VIP tickets for $375 and Omega Level tickets are $950, which include extra perks such as goodie bags and access to the after-party, Hellfire Club, and dedicated lines for meet-and-greets.
To learn more about the event and stay up to date with news, visit the Uncanny Experience website and sign up for the newsletter or follow the convention on Instagram, Facebook, or X. There is also a Discord server where those who have gone or plan on going can connect and discuss all things X-Men.
The Uncanny Experience is produced by Giant-Size Productions and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Marvel or Disney.
