It’s June, and that means it’s almost time for CONvergence!
CONvergence is an annual convention for fans of science fiction and fantasy in all media. From July 3 through July 6 at the Hyatt Regency hotel in downtown Minneapolis, you can enjoy special guests, cosplay, panels, gaming, movies, an art show and artists alley, performances, themed room parties, and more with thousands of your fellow geeks. Although the con spotlights a huge variety of fandoms, this year’s theme is “That’s How We Roll,” which focuses on celebrating all types of games and gaming!
CONvergence 2025 will feature the following guests of honor:
- Chris Kluwe, gamer, tabletop game creator (Twilight of the Gods), and former NFL player
- C. S. E. Cooney, award-winning fantasy author, voice actor, and tabletop game designer (Negocios Infernales)
- Jules Porter, attorney, video game developer, and CEO of Seraph 7 Studios
- Prof Brown, video game developer and designer (Destiny 2)
- Tanya DePass, tabletop game developer (Into the Mother Lands) and founder and director of I Need Diverse Games

The Fine Print
No purchase necessary. Total number of prizes is 6, each consisting of 1 four-day badge for CONvergence 2025 (retail value $135). Any other expenses incurred as a result of winning this prize, including taxes, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
How to Enter: Enter through the Gleam giveaway (https://gleam.io/95cwG/convergence-2025-giveaway) using one or more of the provided methods by 11:59 p.m. Central time on June 12, 2025.
Selection and Notification of Winner: Winners will be randomly selected using the Gleam platform and notified using the email address provided at entry. Odds of winning are dependent on the number of entries received. If Twin Cities Geek is unable to reach a selected winner within 48 hours of selection, or if the winner is ineligible or otherwise unable to accept their prize, the above process will be repeated until the prize has been successfully awarded.
