They Might Be Giants Are Playing Four Twin Cities Shows in a Row This Week
With a songbook that includes many geektastic classics—including “Particle Man,” “Why Does the Sun Shine? (The Sun Is a Mass of Incandescent Gas),” their memorable cover of “Istanbul (Not Constantinople),” and “Birdhouse in Your Soul”—They Might Be Giants’ upcoming shows should certainly be on your nerd radar. TMBG are playing four separate sets in both Minneapolis and St. Paul through this weekend, which looks to be an amazing experience for fans new and old. The band is touring in support of the lauded new album The World Is to Dig, and each night promises to be filled with hits and deep cuts.
Tickets are almost sold out, so it’s your last chance to book yours. They Might Be Giants play First Avenue on October 1 and October 2 and the Fitzgerald Theater on October 3 and October 4, 2026.
