Janice Renoux (they/them, she/her) has lived in the Twin Cities for their entire life. Their geeky interests run the gamut across sci-fi, fantasy, horror, humor, surreal, and nonfiction topics in most mediums that can be seen, heard, or smelled. They have a particular affection for genre fiction, role-playing games, and trash media.
Janice holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and has demonstrated their intellect by choosing not to go to law school. They spend most of their working days being underpaid for doing things that aren’t in their job description. Their last will and testament includes instructions to be buried with their pile of unfinished manuscripts.
Outside of the world of geek, Janice is passionate about cycling, bar food, politics, and queer culture. They also have lots of brain problems and encourage people to normalize talking about their struggles with mental health. They are a doting cat parent and have a soft spot (hint: It’s the tummy) for beer and other carbs. Looking at them directly is discouraged by the surgeon general and the American Medical Association.
