The 2026 convention has the theme “The Geek in the Machine,” celebrating robots, cyborgs, and androids of all kinds! The following guests of honor will be appearing:

The following Twin Cities Geek contributors will be participating in CONvergence programming:

• Book reviewer Stephanie Cranford is moderating “Adaptive Creativity” with guests of honor J. R. Dawson and Christine Galey on Thursday and the Heated Rivalry fan panel on Friday. Stephanie is our resident romance expert—check out her review of Heated Rivalry for a preview of her thoughts.
• Co-head and senior editor Madeleine Vasaly is speaking on “Everything You Know About Publishing Is Wrong” with invited participant Jay Gallentine and guest of honor alum Lee Harris on Thursday. In addition to being in charge of editing at TCG, Madeleine has worked in book and comics publishing for the past 15 years.

Finally, please be aware that masking and COVID vaccination are not required this year, but both are still strongly recommended. N95/KN95 masks will be provided for any attendees who need one.
