Ryan Sanderson grew up on Disney, Star Wars, Scooby-Doo, and the Hardy Boys, fell in love with The Lord of the Rings, then got a little pretentious as a teenager—which made him annoying but also introduced him to To the Lighthouse, so not a total loss. Now he just wants to build community through his love of storytelling. He’s still figuring out what that looks like, but he’s found space in filmmaking, nonfiction and fantasy writing, and RPGs.
